RARE DANBURY MINT THE ALAMO BUILDING REPLICA SAN ANTONIO TEXAS SOUVENIR
eBay Large, spectacular and very hard to find Danbury Mint replica of the Alamo, the Spanish mission in San Antonio that became the symbol of Texas independence. Like all Danbury Mint sculptural replicas, this one is exact in every detail. It is hand-painted in a cold-cast porcelain material, with incredible attention to detail, from the texture of the stonework on the walls to the iron grates on the windows. This Alamo replica stands 4.5" tall on a 11" by 9" base, and weighs over 4.5 lbs. The front of the base reads "THE ALAMO" with six flags of Texas, America and Mexico. The underside of the base reads "The Alamo - The Danbury Mint - c.MBI". This Alamo is in excellent condition with no noticeable chips or cracks. The American flag is on the other 3.25" tall flagpole, No Alamo souvenir building replica comes close to this one in scale and detail (Condition: Brand New)
