RARE Danbury Mint Stranger in the Woods Deer Snowman Sams II Stoick Figure
eBay Being offered is a very rare Danbury mint pice. It is based off the award winning photography of Carl R Sams II& Jean Stoick and sculpted by JohnBlank. It is titled Stranger in the Woods. When I tried to do some research on this, I only found 1 in the past 5 years that even came to the market and they stated back then about how rare this piece was and at the time nothing else was found listed at the present or in the past. That still holds true today as I can't find anything that was recently listed or sold. This is about 10" wide and 7 1/2 deep and 7 1/2" tall. Sorry no box. When I got this from an estate sell, I thought the branch laying on the snow was intentional as if the deer had snapped it off but it is actually loose and belongs to the piece right in front of the smaller deer. It is kind of slivered so I believe you could glue it back on pretty easy and since it is on the back side would probably never see it. I sell everything as found so I di not want to repair it myself and try to deceive anyone. I see no other repairs or breaks. Could prob use a light cleaning especially around the base where the snow ends around the edge of the wood base. Sticker on the bottom and metal label tag on the front which looks like it still has the protective clear sticker on it. Sorry no box. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
