This Danbury Mint Hummel spice jar set was provided by Ars AG in 1987 in Cham, Switzerland It was created under license by the Goebel firm of Germany. The jars were made in Japan. Each jar features a popular Hummel figurine. A popular herb or spice is worded across the top of the jar and the lid and bottom of the jar is trimmed in gold. On the back of each jar is a brief description of the contents and their use. Each jar is 4½" tall with a top diameter of 2". I have 23 jars in perfect condition A few of the lids may not fit as tightly as they
