"Usse Castle" Loire Valley France Enchanted Castles Danbury Mint miniature
SOLD $50.00 Sold: Dec 12, 2023 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay Still in packaging- This item comes with a Certificate of authenticity The charming white stone ChAteau D'Ussé appears to rise in fariytale splendor from its tranquil wooded setting on the lea side of France's Loire Valley. In fact famed 17th-Century author Charles Perrault often stayed at the Ussé, and the castle is said to have inspired him to pen the classic, Sleeping Beauty!A spectacular example of Late Gothic and Renaissance architecture This along with the other Danbury collection on my profile belonged to my late friend Gary who would always tell such an amazing stories about each one. He kept them in original boxes, and I've only taken them out once to snap some photos for posting.Despite our almost 50 year age gap Gary was one of my best friends, and I'd love to get these to the next person who will honor his legacy. I know that I'm asking for a little more than what others might for shipping prices, but these boxes are awkward sizes, and the costs of shipping have really gone up, I've priced it at the Post office, and this is what it costs to ship. I'm not making any profit on shipping. I am also able to answer any questions you might have. Thank you for your time! :) (Condition: New (Other))
