Shirley Temple Bill Bojangles Danbury Mint Porcelain Figurine Set VTG 2000This exquisite fine porcelain figurine set from Danbury Mint depicts the legendary Shirley Temple and Bill Bojangles Robinson in a charming pose. It portrays them dancing on a staircase during their famous tap dancing routine from Twentieth Century Fox's 1935 film “The Little Colonel". The vibrant colors and life-like intricate details make it a must-have for any collector of decorative figurines. Perfect for all occasions and will surely be a cherished addition to any collection. This beautiful set was sculptured by artist Elke Hutchens. It was released in 2000 and is a very rare set. The Shirley Temple doll is approximately 10". The Bill Bojangles doll is approximately 14". Complete set measures approximately 16” tall and 12” across. Handcrafted of fine porcelain and comes complete with an elegant staircase and original Certificate of Authenticity. Original box is not included. This vintage doll set was displayed in an enclosed glass case from 2000 — 2012, after moving it has been stored in a plastic tote in climate controlled spare bedroom.SEE PICS…There is a scratch on the top wooden step. There is a marking on the base of the wooden staircase, appears to be from manufacturing, possibly from the glue. Bill Bojangles left shoe has wear and tear at his big toe, and his right shoe has wear and tear on the front and the side of his shoe. Bojangles is missing the metal insert that holds him up on the pole, so I included a doll stand metal insert to hold him up on the staircase.Comes from a pet-free smoke-free home.Will deliver locally for free in Hamilton, AL.Thank you for looking!
