Historic Catholic Churches , The church of the Popes in the Vatican. This was designed in the shape of a Latin cross, The soaring dome at the center is directly above the high alter that covers the shrine of St. Peter the Apostle, were all Popes claim succession. This sculpture is skilfully hand-painted by talented artists, accurately capturing the Basilica's features, from the Piazza's intricate pattern of stones and the Basilica's terra-cotta roof tiles, to the ribs of the domes and the colorful foliage of the grounds. This Beautiful sculpture is 14"long and 8"wide, 6" tall from the base to the top of the cross on top of the dome, and weighs about 5 lb, made of cold case porcelain, and comes with a beautiful cherry oak base that is 15"Lx 9"Wx1"H.
