western end of Fire Island, a barrier island off the southern coast of
Long Island. The lighthouse is located within Fire Island National
Seashore and just to the east of Robert Moses State Park
This Danbury Mint lighthouse is just
one of many that we collected over the years and has sat quietly on a display
shelf. It is in nice condition and I do not see any chips or cracks, except at the very tip top there is an ever so small dot. It is
about 7 1/2" tall (from base
